Directors and Office Holders

The Association is a membership organisation that is led by a group of directors. There are six key officer holders that also act in the capacity of directors of the charitable company for the period of their election. These include the offices of Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. The directors will also appoint additional office holders or supplementary directors from time to time that support their activities in fulfilling the Objects of the Association.

The directors stand for three years and election/re-election is staggered across the four key office holders over a three year period. Elections take place at the annual general meeting, usually at the the June residential conference, and elected officers take up their responsibilities from the 1st September. Any 'appointed officers' are reviewed annually, reported to the membership and assigned at the discretion of the directors.
