The Association contributes to the Parliamentary Youth Violence Commission

A member of our Secretariat, Steve Drowley, was invited to participate in the Parliamentary Youth Violence Commission to provide a view from a youth and community work perspective ‘across the regions’ of the UK. Steve attended the commission’s first evidence gathering session on Monday 16th October, 2017, at the Houses of Parliament called: ‘Addressing Youth Violence: Community and Youth Services.’ We would like to express our thanks to those colleagues who responded to Steve Drowley with a range of relevant and useful material. Steve has produced a short report on his engagement with the commission in a document available via this link and colleagues can submit further written evidence via the Youth Violence Commission website: http://yvcommission.com/literature-reports
